Her parents are Jacob Muller and Sara Aron, and they are both Jewish. When Esther was only five years old, her mother died suddenly, without any trace of a preexisting illness. The cause of her death remains unknown to this day. Esther’s father became a shell of himself, becoming a quiet and reclusive individual. His only goal in life was to bring up his daughter and give her the life she deserved.
Unfortunately, only five years later, Jacob Muller also passed away, due to some minor health complications. It is believed that he died of a broken heart after losing his wife so early. Esther, who was almost ten at the time, was left an orphan and taken into the care of an anonymous Jewish family residing in Prussia. They were very strict and keen on returning their investment in the child when she was older. Esther was given a small dowry from her parents, and the family was eager to get their hands on it.
In 1848, a search began for a suitable husband for Esther, with her dowry being offered as part of the deal. The Silbers family sought a wife for their son, Joël Silbers
Joël SilbersJoël Silbers was born on January 23, 1817, as the long-awaited son of David and Lena Silbers. He was born in a small apartment above his father’s Silbers butchery in…, who was set to inherit a successful butchery. An agreement was reached for Joël to marry Esther in exchange for a portion of her dowry, with the remaining portion going to the Silbers family. Following the arrangement, the couple spent several months getting to know each other, although this proved to be challenging and awkward. A year later, they were encouraged to wed, and they did so on April 5, 1849.
The first few months or even years of their marriage were challenging, as the marriage felt forced and they seemed to have nothing in common. Joel worked most of the time, leaving Esther alone. Later, she was asked to work at the front desk of the butchery, which she did not like at all. However, she grew to like it better, and over time the couple began to gain more respect for each other, and the relationship improved.
Their daughter Louise was born on November 8, 1853. The arrival of the child marked a turning point in their relationship. As they cared for their little daughter and spent more time together, the couple grew closer. The initial, somewhat distant love between them was reignited and became much stronger.
Esther has naturally dark hair, brown eyes, and a curious round face. She stands at a petite height of only 154cm. Despite the era, she keeps her hair in a short, practical yet fashionable style. Esther has a gentle and calm demeanour. She mostly communicates through facial expressions and gestures, only using words when necessary.
