The crops must propably be considered lost. It has been such a wet year, the BuckwheatBuckwheatBuckwheat is a fast-growing, broad-leaved crop grown on poor and sandy soils where other grains struggle. Despite its name, it is not a true cereal but is grown for its… rotted in front of my eyes. Only on the higher parts of the field there are some left. It is going to be a tough year.

Today I found a skeleton of a stag in the forest. I wonder how long it has been there, since there were only bones left. The antlers were in fantastic shape though. This would be a great decoration piece in my hut.

Fundraising for the restoration of St. Mary’s Chapel has been a tremendous success.
