Version 5. The Main Storyline
After working on creating the main website and the basics of my world, I am now starting getting into the workflow of creating the main storyline and then work on the assets if the story demands it. So, if a character, place, object or other world asset becomes important for the story, I will start working on it. This way I am not building the world in a scattered way, but in a organic story-oriënted way.
Because of this it is a little bit harder to define the actual products of this version, because the main storyline will determine it. The focus will however be on the Lutz
LutzThe Lutz family is primarily composed of farmers who reside in the Vöhren district of Kilden. Most members either currently live or have previously lived on the Lutz estate, a small farmhouse where they… family, since they will have the most important role in my main story. So most topics and assets will evolve around them. I also plan to make final 3D models for Lutz farm
Lutz farmLutz Farm is a small farm located in the Denron neighbourhood of the Vöhren district. The Lutz family has been the proud owners and operators of the farm for centuries. They grow a variety of crops,… and (hopefully) the city of Lutheria
LutheriaThe City of Lutheria is one of the main cities in the Region of Kilden and is situated along the important trade route to Belthem. The city is geographically located…. These are two locations very important to the story. Besides that, I will keep working on improving the website and plan to share more on social media platforms.
Also, I am going to start creating a yearly scrapbook or progress-book with the things I have created that year. This book will be printed, to have something tangible about the developmentDevelopmentOn this page you can find some information of the development of the Guild of Stories. Below I will share some Statistics about the amount of posts published. Also you… of my project. I did want to do it last year, but because I was still in a “framework-building” workflow, I did not produce “good-enough” content for this book.
